Peggy’s Rainbow 7 Gen Challenge
One of my friends started the Not So Berry challenge, but I realised that there was 3 different pink generations. I’m not the biggest fan of pink so started thinking of a more vibrant challenge to occupy myself with. I’m sorry LilSimsie, I can’t get on board with all that pink!
I did look for Rainbow inspired challenges and there are some out there. But I decided it would be fun to create my own challenge of sorts. Here goes!
I’m basing the generations off the classic rainbow colours. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.
Rules
We start the challenge as a Young Adult living in Windenburg. There are 6 more plots next to the founding house. By the end of the challenge, the area should reflect the colours of a rainbow.
Each house should have a Squirrel Hot Chocolate set. Small reference to the creator of this challenge who has been dubbed the 'Squirrel Queen' in her gaming community.
Use starting funds to build your house or find one from the Gallery that houses one Sim and has space for a heir. I'm not opposed to money cheats just not excessive use.
1. The challenge begins in Windenburg in the top left of the map which has 7 neighbouring plots. Bulldoze all 7 lots to allow your creativity to flow.
2. Each gen must represent the rainbow colour noted (house, decor, hair and clothing).
3. Add a Squirrel Hot Chocolate Set and Treehouse to each house.
4. Play on normal lifespan.
5. The idea is each gen completes their chosen career and skills before moving to the next gen.

Generation 1 – Red
Our first Sim is passionate and full of enthusiasm for life's embrace. This Sim will be fiery, strong willed and determined. We start this journey as a Young Adult embarking on their first career. Please create a house using starting funds but you can use freerealestate cheat to give you more flexibility on your choice of house. Our Sim has a baby (to start the next gen), the choice of how, is yours.
Traits: Hot-headed, Romantic and Ambitious
Aspirations: MasterChef
Career: Chef

Generation 2 – Orange
Growing up your parents spent more time in the kitchen trying to be the next Gordon Ramsey than with you. They pushed you to be ambitious with your school work and be academic. However, this actually made you seek the outdoors more and seek comfort from Mother Nature.
Traits: Creative, Outgoing, Loyal or Party Animal
Aspirations: Friend of the World or Neighbourhood Confidant
Career: Interior Decorator. If this career doesn’t work for you Painter or Crafter would be good choices.
Other Skills: Complete Painting, Photography, Knitting and Writing
Generation 3 – Yellow
You'd think having laid back hippies as parents would be great, right? Not so much, Mother Nature was always centre of their world, always protesting with Greenpeace to make the planet cleaner. Meanwhile you were at home alone making yourself a microwavable meal. You aspire to have a close knit family, home cooked meals where the family sits down together and the grandparents come over to stay every other weekend. During the day you shape the minds of the children of the future as a teacher and at night, it's bedtime stories and hot cocoa with the family in front of the fire. The third gen is based on a sunshine personality, warm and happy. This sim will have multiple children (can adopt kids as well) to complete the Big Happy Family Aspiration. This sim reminds me of Miss Honey from Matilda, a wholesome teacher who just wants the best for all her pupils.
Traits: Cheerful, Neat and Good
Aspirations: Big Happy Family
Career: Teacher
Other Skills: Complete Cooking, Gardening and Baking skills. Our teacher does cross-stitch after work to unwind.
Generation 4 - Green
As a child you had everything you could wish for. Your parents supported ever choice you made and gave you all the possibilities you could ever want! So when you were introduced to Scouts as a child you became obsessed. You thrive on being one with nature and adventuring in the big outdoors. Granny even taught you a thing or two about recycling and gardening. Childhood obsession becomes adult ambition.
Traits: Green Fiend, Recycle Discipline, Adventurous or Loves Outdoors
Aspirations: Nature - Freelance Botanist branch
Career: Gardener or Conservationist
Need to vacation in either Sulani or Henford on Bageley
Skills: Complete Gardening, Fishing and Flower Arranging
Generation 5 - Blue
Growing up your parents were obsessed with the outdoors, you, not so much. Turns out you had allergies, to EVERYTHING GREEN. From a young age, you developed allergies to plants and couldn't be near them. You spent hours in and out of hospital with reaction after reaction until they finally figured it out. From that point on, you much prefer the indoors curled up with a good book.
You admired the hospital staff treating you and almost being your second family. When you were finally diagnosed, you became fascinated with the human body and how it works. This started your journey into a career in medicine.
Traits: Bookworm, Genius, Loyal or Overachiever
Aspirations: Nerd brain and Renaissance.
Career: Doctor

Our doctor sim should fall for a Sorcerer so the child has the Sorcery bloodline.
Generation 6 - Indigo
Being indoorsy ain’t so bad after all! With your parents believing in modern technology, you grew up with the best gadgets! You would spent hours on end on your computer, gaming, researching and following Reddit’s horror reads. You’d get lost in the paranormal stories, myths and legends for hours and hours which makes you think there’s more to life than we know. Aliens? Ghosts? Who knows but you’re determined to find out
Traits: Genius, Paranormal and Geek
Aspirations: Purveyor of Potions or Spellcraft & Sorcery
Career: Secret Agent
Other Skills: Need to unlock the Paranormal Investigator career.

Generation 7 - Violet
Your dad drove him self mad chasing the idea of ghosts, ghouls and aliens, didn’t help that your mother ran away when you were young, (your dad swears the aliens took her).
Watching your father mourn his loved one everyday made your heart ache. One day you wish to find a love has true has his. You’d spend ours writing songs about their love and the pain your dad is in. Maybe your music will be recognised one day and you can find the person of your dreams and live the life your dad never had

Aspirations: Musical Genius
Career: Famous Musician
