My founding story

Hey, I’m Peggy. *waves*

Before the pandemic, I was always busy after work with meeting friends or playing roller derby (pssst, that’s where the gamer tag comes from). Then March 2020 strolls along and suddenly we can’t leave the house!?!?! My social life disappeared overnight.

Thankfully, I stumbled across the online gaming community on Facebook, where creators such as PABLO, Ludicrous Legacy and CrumbGaming helped occupy my time. I’ve always loved video games, particularly retro Mario and Pokemon.

The concept of streaming games appealed to me. I decided I wanted to give this a shot. I created a Facebook Gaming page in November 2020 and after a lot of trial and error, I managed to hit that ‘live’ button on 18 January 2021.

I paid tribute to my Scottish roots by basing my Animal Crossing island on Scotland’s landmarks. This kept me busy and soon it transpired with my very broad dialect, I pronounce squirrel differently to my peers. And hence the Squirrel Queen was born.

Since launching my streaming journey, I’ve since moved towards Sims and Indie games content. Bonus points for any game that features a cat ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
I came across Sims in June 21 and have not looked back.
